David Kierniesky was born and raised in the historic Civil War town of Gettysburg, PA. He graduated from Gettysburg Area Senior High School in 1992. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Film & Media Arts from Temple University in 1999.

David Kierniesky is a professional web designer. He began designing web sites in 1995. He learned to design using hand-coded HTML on the Unix operating system at Temple University in Philadelphia. David designed personal web sites for fun in the early years.

In 1999, David landed a job with Xlibris, a start-up print-on-demand publishing firm based in Trenton, NJ. He was part of a four-member book production team. A few months later the company moved to new offices in the Olde City section of Philadelphia, PA.

During his time at Xlibris, David utilized his design and technical skills to help improve the book production process. This included cover designs, text layouts, PDF file creation & minor HTML editing for each completed book’s web site listings.

In June 2003, David ventured into professional freelance web design. He has designed sites for restaurants, charities, musicians and friends. Additionally, he administrates his own projects: (Professional), (Hip-Hop Culture) and (Family History).
